The car rental agencies offering the facility to carry their car on a ferry have a specific section of terms and conditions related to the subject.

If you want to carry the car on a ferry and don’t find any terms and conditions related to it, then it is advised to ask the agency about it. Don’t leave any stone unturned in clarifying the terms and conditions before booking. Make your all doubts clear before signing the contract and making the payment.

Because carrying a car on a ferry increases your responsibility and you will be held responsible for any damage to the car. It is, therefore, necessary to understand all the circumstances and take decisions accordingly.

To get rid of this problem, the ferry companies book a ticket for a rented car as ‘RENT 123’ instead of the number plate. In this way, you can book a separate ticket for your car.
